Terms of use

By using getheavilymeditated.com and the Heavily Meditated app you agree to these terms. You must be 16 or older to create an account, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

• A Plus or lifetime purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. It doesn't permit public or commercial display; that needs a venue licence.
• A venue licence covers display at one physical location. It may not be rebroadcast online or resold.
• You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, its visuals or its music.
• We may update, add or retire worlds and features. Lifetime members keep access to Plus for as long as the service operates.
• The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
• These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Billing, trials and refunds

• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Free trial: the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial. We email you about 2 days before it ends. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.
• Renewals: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Account, then Manage billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds: if you're charged for a yearly renewal you didn't mean to keep, email us within 14 days and we'll refund it. Founding lifetime purchases can be refunded within 14 days. Monthly payments aren't refunded for partial months, except where the law requires.
• Gifts: a gift code gives one full year of Plus and works once. It doesn't renew unless the recipient adds a payment method.
• Prices are in US dollars unless shown in your local currency at checkout. Taxes are added where required.

Privacy

We collect as little as we can.

• What we keep: your email address, your plan and its status, and, if you sign up for updates, the date and wording of your consent. For venues, your licence key and when your screen last connected.
• What Stripe keeps: your payment details and billing address, under Stripe's privacy policy.
• Where your settings live: your app preferences and saved universes are stored on your device.
• Analytics: we use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that count visits without identifying you. We remember how you found us (for example, our YouTube stream) on your device so we can credit the right channel.
• Email: we send account and billing emails to customers, and marketing emails only to people who opted in or bought from us. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (accounts and database), Resend (email) and our web host. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.
• Your rights: email us to see, correct, export or delete your data. We'll respond within 30 days.

Safety

• Heavily Meditated is a relaxation experience. It isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
• The visuals never strobe or flash and motion is kept slow. Even so, if you have photosensitive epilepsy, or have had seizures or migraines triggered by light, talk to your doctor before using it.
• If you're prone to motion sickness, start at a low intensity with comfort mode on.
• In VR, stay seated or lying down in a clear space. If you feel dizzy, uneasy or overwhelmed, choose Ground me or take the headset off.
• Don't use it while driving, in water, or anywhere you need to stay alert.
